Chalk Talks (Illustrated Sermons)

I have been doing chalk talks for many years. It is not my favorite way of drawing because it has to be done in ten to fifteen minutes. For a photo realist that is too fast. I greatly enjoy doing them and the effect on the audience is always encouraging. The message part is usually twenty to thirty minutes.  Sometimes the invisible part, (only visible via the black light) is drawn before the service and sometimes during. I draw the main part of the picture first, then preach the message and then slowly turn the regularly lights down and the black light on. The effect is surprise and a perfect place for an invitation to respond to the message.

The Lord has blessed this and I thank Him for using it and me!
